Oh yeah! This year, I will be taking part in the Monaco di Bavaria Classic – an ultracycling event with 1500 km and over 30,000 meters of elevation gain – in the Alps and the Dolomites!
Ja, man kommt schon weit herum bei einer ALPI 4000. Für mich mein erster Super-Brevet und die längste Distanz bisher. Ich starte ganz simple mit der Einstellung, zu fahren, bis es nicht mehr geht. Oder das Rad auseinander fällt 😉 was soll die übertriebene Planerei, wo doch über eine derart lange Distanz viel unvorhersehbares passieren kann – und auch passieren wird. Also sehe ich mir vorher den Kurs an, alle 16 Etappen, lasse aber genug Spielraum für das Abenteuer.
