Besonders hart mag man es sich anscheinend in Australien! Das 2016 ins Leben gerufene Rennen »Race to the Rock«! Adelaide bis Uluru – 2.317 km – self-supported. Regen, kalte Nächte, heiße Winde, felsiges Gelände, Schwärme von Käfern, schlammiger Lehm und überschwemmte Straßen mit Wasser, soweit das Auge sehen konnte. Von allen gestarteten Teilnehmern/innen kam nur Sarah Hammond am Ziel an.
